How To Change Your Email Name

The way your name appears to people when you email them is initially set by the data we have in our administrative system. If you'd like to change that (i.e. "Robert Smith" to "Bob Smith"), follow these steps:

  1. While viewing your Inbox, click the gear icon and select "Settings"
  2. Click the "Accounts" tab.
  3. Find your name/email in the "Send mail as" section and click "edit info".
  4. You'll see your current name/email. Follow the prompts to change your name.
