Locking your Windows computer is an extremely pertinent action to take when leaving your computer alone, be it a desktop or laptop. This prevents others from gaining access to your computer, and, more importantly, your account as well as any files you're working on.
Option One: Windows Key + L
Using your keyboard, press and hold the Windows key located on the lower left of your keyboard, and press the L key. This will immediately lock your screen. Upon returning to you computer, you will need type in your password to unlock.
Option Two: Bluetooth Device Lock
Smartphones can be paired to your computer via Bluetooth and used as a device to unlock your computer when in proximity.
