Submit Handwritten Homework using Canvas Student App

The Canvas Student App (iOS Link, Android Link) allows you to access course materials easily from your mobile device.

Use this guide to help submit handwritten homework using the Canvas Student App.

Find the Assignment you need to turn in.

Tap on "Submit Assignment", then on the "+ Camera" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.  You may need to approve Canvas Student's access to your camera and files.

Take a picture of your document, tap submit in the upper right corner, and let the document upload. 

If you have push notifications enabled for Canvas Studio, you'll receive a notification that your assignment has been successfully submitted.
