Operating Pressbox Equipment

All controls for the press box system should be control through the touch panel on the equipment rack. You should not have to press any buttons or dials on the physical equipment. If you experience any issues, please report them to Athletics.

Microphones

The (1) microphone button pulls up the popup screen to control the microphone settings. Microphones #5 and #6 are wireless lavalier microphones that are stored in Dan Lukes office. These can be available upon request. Each microphone will have a (2) corresponding level on the microphone settings popup page along with a (3) main volume level along with the functionality to mute each level.

The wireless microphones #1 and #2 are located in the drawer beneath the media player.

To turn on the handheld microphones, hold the mute button until the light turns green. 

We strongly recommend starting out with a fresh set of batteries. You will need to supply your own batteries. The handheld microphones take two AA batteries each.

Media Player

The controls for the media player are included in the touch panel (Bluetooth, CD, FM, Aux/iPod). Do not use any physical buttons on the media player. Use the provided buttons on the media player popup page.

There is an auxiliary cable in the drawer for use with the media player. Please note you need to provide your own adapter if needed to use this. The bookstore sells them.

Bluetooth Note:

If you are using Bluetooth, make sure the Bluetooth is also enabled in control closet as well. This button is located in the electrical closet in the gym.
