Allow Early Access to your Course

By default, students enrolled into courses can view courses that have been published at any time.

They cannot, however, submit assignments or take a quiz before the course opening date.

As an instructor of the course, you can modify the day the course opens, and allow students early access to turn things in.

How to

In your course, click on Settings in the navigation link column.

Staying on the Course Details tab, find "Participation", and change from "Term" to "Course". Then, enter the Start and End dates you'd like to use.

When you're all done, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click "Update Course Details".
