Grading with a rubric using Speedgrader

To grade using a rubric in SpeedGrader on Canvas, follow these steps:

Open the assignment you wish to grade and access the Speedgrader. You will see the rubric that corresponds with it below the assignment details. If you have not created a rubric yet, feel free to use this article.

Once in Speedgrader, you will see the file submissions of each student on the left and the rubric on the right. Begin by clicking on "View Rubric". Select the rating and add comments (if applicable). Points will auto populate.

Please note: You need to "Save" your rubric marks before moving onto another student. You can also add additional over all comments, but will need to press "submit" to save them. 

Navigate to the next student in the upper right hand corner to continue grading. The point values reflected in the rubric will appear in the gradebook.
